Dr. Maryam Nouhi is a psychiatrist dedicated to a whole-person approach to mental wellness. With a career defined by versatility and a deep-seated passion for her work, Dr. Nouhi is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. Her training supports a medical, patient-centered approach to psychiatric care.

Inpatient & Hospital Services: Extensive experience in acute inpatient stabilization, Consult-Liaison (C/L) psychiatry, and high-acuity Psychiatric Emergency (Psych ED) environments.

Outpatient Practice: Seasoned provider of comprehensive psychiatric care with access to telepsychiatry.

Texas Horizon Psychiatry PLLC: Co-Founder of a psychiatry practice focused on delivering high-quality mental health services to the Texas community.

Undergraduate: Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (Cum Laude) from the University of Florida.

Personal Life & Philosophy

Outside of work, Dr. Nouhi enjoys travel, photography, yoga, time with family, and caring for her dogs. Her goal is to provide a partnership built on trust, helping every patient find their path to new horizons.

Dr. Sheilin Hamid is a psychiatrist who believes that mental health care should feel personal, respectful, and collaborative. She is dedicated to helping patients across Texas feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate their mental health journey.

At Texas Horizon Psychiatry, Dr. Hamid provides thoughtful psychiatric care with access to telepsychiatry, allowing patients to receive care in a private and convenient setting. She understands that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, and she strives to create a space where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns without judgment.

Dr. Hamid takes time to understand each patient’s story — not just their symptoms. Her goal is to work together with patients to create treatment plans that are practical, evidence-based, and tailored to their individual needs, goals, lifestyle, and preferences.

Dr. Hamid completed psychiatry residency training at University Hospital and Medical Center in Tamarac, Florida, and HCA Florida JFK North Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida.

She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University’s Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2022, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavior from Florida Atlantic University.
